That could mean keeping up with road maintenance before major reconstruction becomes necessary, addressing snowbanks and drainage before severe weather hits, improving lighting or other safety measures before problems escalate, and examining aging infrastructure before failures create much larger repair bills. For Wanda, preventative maintenance is also about priorities. Before taking on additional major projects, she believes the city should make sure the services residents already depend on are working properly.
